Copper garden lights are a good way to complement a lighting layout that includes unique or artistic features such as statuary, fountains, wishing wells, and so forth. To keep the copper finish shiny and like new, you can protect it from the elements with a coat of clear lacquer. If however you want the copper to achieve a weathered, natural appearance, just leave it as is and let the forces of nature take its course. After some time exposed to the elements, the finish will eventually change into a blue-green "verdigris" sheen that has an elegant and vintage appeal.
Battery lights are one of the most effective decorative tools that you should use if you want to transform a dull place into a worthy party venue. With enhanced features, these products are more useful than ever. These bright lights are not just for big parties and special occasions. You can also use them at home to have a more controlled ambience in certain areas of the house. It is just a matter of choosing the right type of lighting to achieve the effect you are looking for. Indoor fairy lights and curtain lights highlight the festivity by adding a little drama to the overall design and decoration of the chosen location. Since these are mostly battery-powered lighting units, it is quite easy to place them from one area to another.
Fluorescent lighting has been around a long time and you may not think it is that efficient. Old fluorescent lighting certainly isn't T12 and T8 tubes and their drivers can be horribly wasteful, sometimes using double the amount of power they are rated at. However T5 fluorescent tubes coupled with a modern ballast is remarkably efficient, almost as efficient in fact as LED lighting. Modern warm start ballasts have also increased reliability and allowed for extending the life of the tubes which can now reach as much as 30,000 or 40,000 hours. Modern drivers also operate at high frequency, unlike their older counterparts, which mean there is no longer a noticeable flicker with fluorescent lights. Fluorescent lights do also suffer from early failures, and because they rely on a filament the more often they are turned on and off the shorter their life will be; this means turning them on and of with presence detection to reduce their use and save money on your bill could backfire when you have to frequently replace the tubes. If you do go down this route make sure the drivers feature warm start and don't set the controls to frequently turn the lights on and off.
