If you feel like having a burger, you can significantly reduce calories by going for a regular single burger instead of a large double or triple. Also order a small portion of chips instead of a large one, and water instead of coke. Skip cheese and mayonnaise, or decide on one of the two. Another possibility to create a healthy burger meal is to have salad instead of chips with your beef burger. Or choose a vegetarian burger.
So there you have it. While most fast food meals are extremely unhealthy, there are ways that you can make them healthier. If you have no option but to order fast food, avoid ordering anything fried or grilled, order a healthy drink, keep condiments to a minimum, and keep your meal size small.
Beef tallow or lard is switched to hydrogenated vegetable oils used to fry. Low calories choices on foods such as low-fat milkshakes, lean meats, salad bars with low calorie dressing, grilled chicken items and whole grins buns are available for those who would like to have their healthy fast foods as their menu. Despite of those modifications, you still have to carefully choose your food especially when you suffer from diabetes, heart disease and high blood pressure since such particular food contains high sodium, sugar and fat.
